This Privacy Policy describes how we handle your personal information for our services on the bidOwl / Offer-Now websites. It applies generally to the bidOwl.com or Offer-Now.com website and other related websites where this policy appears.

Our Privacy Policy is subject to the requirements of applicable law. By accepting the Privacy Policy and our User Agreement when registering, you expressly consent to our collection, storage, use and disclosure of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy effective on July 15, 2007.

Collection of information

You can view our site without being a Member or revealing any personal information. Once you register and give us your personal information, you are in compliance with our Privacy Policy and in agreement to the transfer and storage of any personal information on our secure servers located in the United States of America.

We may collect and store the following personal information exclusively for our records:

• email address and physical contact information. auction information regarding, shipping, bidding, buying, selling, billing, auction listing, message board content, daily house keeping information including; computer and connection information, statistics on page views, traffic data, IP address and standard log information;

• other supplemental information from third parties such as a credit check, as permitted by law; or verification from your driver license or a recent utility bill to confirm your address.

• We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

• We use session cookies on the system to identify our members, analyze our page flow and provide system security and is not shared outside of the system.

Other information

• Third party financial information such as PayPal, GooleCheckout and Shopping Cart advertisers may request financial information, such as credit card or bank account numbers to complete a transaction. This information is stored on their servers and you should view their Privacy Policy prior to submission.

Our Disclosure of Your Information

Using Information from bidOwl

bidOwl allows you to share personal and financial information to complete a transaction. We do not guarantee the privacy or security of your information and allow limited access and contact by the message board only to preserve your email address. After entering into a transaction, you have access to each other's name, User ID, email address and other contact and shipping information. As a bidOwl Member, you have agreed to respect and use any personal information collected for the sole purpose of tendering the transaction and may not use or sell this information for commercial use or unsolicited commercial messages.

No Spam, Spyware, Phishing or Spoofing Allowed

We take a firm stand against spam, phishing, spoofing and spyware and provide an internal message board for buyer and seller email contact. Your bidOwl registered email is available to the other party only in the event of a transaction. We suggest using the system message board for all communications to reduce your exposure to these elements. No one is licensed to collect member email addresses for the purpose of marketing without your expressed consent. We do not provide, sell, rent or make your email address available to anyone outside of the bidOwl / Offer-Now system.

General

We may amend this Privacy Policy at any time by posting the amended terms on this site. All amended terms take effect 30 days after they are initially posted on the Site.
